The incidents of last year have raised awareness to the social injustices of discrimination. Without an enlightened awareness of the price we pay for racial disparities, we will never be able to transform the inequalities of wealth and impact.
As a minority and a business owner myself, these injustices highlighted the struggles that people of color face on a daily basis to be successful in this country.
With social injustices being highlighted in the press, so many people were wanting to come on board and declare their allyship to Black and Brown lives. But how can you do something that is sustainable and doesn't fade into the background when other news stories take over?
How can we keep the momentum going to make consistent progress in coming together? As an individual, it's easy to think that you, alone, can't make much of a difference. But you can, and here's how.
You can show your support for Black-owned businesses and organizations. Supporting Black-owned businesses can help build relationships, lessen the wealth gap and increase community morale.
Studies from the Harvard Business Review show that having diversity on your teams and in your business increases your chances for success and helps us get closer to true acceptance of one another.
That's why I've interviewed 18 talented Black business owners for my upcoming summit:
The Diverse Talent Showcase
Building Cultural Inclusivity for Your Products and Teams
June 14th – 18th, 2021
You see for me, and many others who look like me, we don't have a choice but to be in the quest for equitable opportunities to succeed in a system that is designed to make it harder to succeed.
There are so many highly talented people that don't get an equal chance to be seen and heard for the opportunity to thrive. I'm hosting this summit so that you can have the chance to see and hear the stories of these business owners and give them the opportunity to shine.
You’ll hear from:
- Sales and Business Strategists
- Financial Consultants
- Marketing Experts
- Coaches
- And many more….
Consider this your official invitation to learn more about the amazing, talented people of color, who can enrich your life even more.
