When someone asks you to do something or be somewhere, do you immediately think about how much time it would take?
You don’t want to say no, yet you’ve heard the saying, ‘If you want something done, give it to a busy person.’ That never made sense to me until I became a busy entrepreneur. It’s hard for us busy people to say no to business opportunities. We’ll say yes to a lot so that we don’t miss out on a chance to move our business or careers forward.
Yet, when it comes to a workout, preparing a healthy meal, or just plain chilling out, we kinda default to calculating the time. How long is this workout? How much time do I have to meditate, because all I’m meditating on is my list of things to do? How long is this meal prep? Can I do it in my Instant Pot?
Admit it. I know I can’t be the only one who calculates the time when someone asks me to take time away from work.
“I’ll be there in a minute, honey,” or “Just one more email and I’ll be there, you can start without me,” when the family is waiting to start the movie on Netflix.
We don’t start out initially choosing to spend most of our time and energy on things that take us away from having better health and happier relationships. But somehow, that ends up happening.
Well, it’s time to STOP sacrificing your personal fulfillment while you are achieving your professional success.
I want you to join me LIVE on Thursday, April 29th @ 4:00pm PT/ 7:00pm ET for the
