The beauty in imperfection is that we get to acknowledge our mistakes, learn from them and grow.
My last few correspondences with you had some blatant errors in the greeting. Normally, that would have me reeling with embarrassment, shame and the fear that you will no longer like or respect me.
But honestly, that's not the case. Yes, it's annoying that it happened more than once, especially when we went through great effort to fix it. But I kinda love that it happened.
Perfectionism has caused me great pain in the past and I'm happy to see my progress in growing past perfect into being perfectly imperfect.
I just want to acknowledge the breakdown because of my love and respect for you. And thank those of you who reached out to me to point out the errors.
Thank you for caring enough about me to let me know. Your patience and respect have left me feeling more than and not less than because of this faux pas.
Now, with that out of the way, it's National Women's History Month and I'd love for you to register for the Voices of Women Summit.
Won't you join me on this epic event? I'm excited to both share and tune in to the other women because there is always another viewpoint to consider and more to learn.
