This morning, when I woke up, I had something different in mind to share with you. But after the events in the news, yet again, my heart is heavy.
Yes, protests and rioting are a part of our history. We have the right to a peaceful protest. Unfortunately, some of those protests can turn into violence and riots.
But when people in the position of leadership condone, encourage or fail to dissuade violence, my heart is saddened.
It's disappointing when the influence of leadership is towards violence and not unity. It's a human issue and not a political issue when we encourage violence to get what we want, over mediation and negotiation.
Regardless of where we stand politically, we have a choice of how we lead. We can lead with love or we can lead with hate or we can chose to do nothing.
Here's the thing, you might not think of yourself as a leader, but people are watching you anyway. Who you are and how you show up in good times and in times of turmoil are being watched.
I wanted to reach out to you today to say that I know the times that we are living in are difficult. Some days more difficult than others.
If you need support in anyway, please reply to this email. Let me know how you are doing and if you need someone to hear you.
I'll be doing a LIVE presentation on Courage Leadership in Transformational Times in The Feminine Frequency Facebook Group on Friday, Jan. 8th @ 11:00am Pacific.
You can sign up HERE to see the live presentation or watch the replay. I know it will help you in your personal responsibility to spread love and not hate. (This is a women's event, but I'll be sharing this presentation with
everyone at a later date.)
Sending you a virtual hug.
