Final Reflections on 2020

I hope you’ve been taking some time off and making memories with those closest to you this holiday. I have a few more things to share with you before we finally close out this year.

Owning it: Radical Responsibility

If you want 2021 to be different than 2020, it’s time to develop radical responsibility. Radical responsibility is a term I use to describe taking 100% responsibility for our actions. That means not only accepting responsibility for our behavior, but also accepting responsibility for the RESULTS that behavior produces in our lives. That’s right, if you’ve ever been surprised to find yourself in a situation, take a few steps backward and think about the choices leading up to that circumstance.

It’s extremely important to take radical responsibility if we want to make better choices and see better results in our lives, and there’s no better time to start than right now, with a brand new year on the horizon.

In my last newsletter, I told you about my client, Jacob Jennings, Founder and CEO of Sherlock's Homes.

Now I get to share my interview with Jacob, where he shares from the heart about his vision for providing safe spaces for homeless LGBTQ youth. Jacob is an astounding young man who, after overcoming his own bout with homelessness, wants to make the world a safer, more welcoming, and accepting place for young adults like him.

The Return of Mother Wisdom Summit

For so long, women's’ voices have been silenced. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that I’m passionate about sharing the stories of powerful women, and teaching you how to share your story. So I was honored when asked to be a part of Kerri Hummingbird’s “Return of Mother Wisdom” summit.

Keri Hummingbird is an author, a traveler, and a storyteller. As part of her new book launch, she is bringing together 16 women (including yours truly) from all different walks of life to share their wisdom in this powerful summit.

Thank you so much for being a valuable member of this community. Like so many others, I’m happy to close out this year, but I’m also remembering to take time to reflect on all it has encompassed.
