I had a rant... and it may piss you off.

Yeah, I got a little fired up.

You have leaders and influencers that you follow. Right?

You expect those leaders and influencers to be walking their talk, right?

Well, so do I. I also have expectations of the leaders and influencers that I follow. I expect them to continue to learn and grow and be in the work of transformation in their lives as well.

If you've learned anything from this past year, it's that leaders are courageous and take bold action. Whether you agree with them or not, you know where they stand.

But, it's the leaders that say one thing and do another that I take issue with and that's why I had a rant.

I cannot give my money to people who won't do for themselves, what they are asking you to do for yourself. How can that be in integrity?

I am nervous about sharing my rant with you here, but when I see leaders and influencers out of integrity with their message, I get fired up. You can watch it here below:

Look at who you are spending your money with. Are your leaders demonstrating strength and courage? Privilege has many faces and manifestations.

Your leaders get to learn and grow along side of those they are leading when it comes to the issues we all are facing today.

The growth opportunity for me is to be unapologetic in how I feel and who I support. My resilience will tell me to suck it up and move on. My fight for changing systemic racism will no longer allow me to do that.
