It was a challenging time energy wise for me this week. I honestly didn't have the energy to bring to my life and work after my visit to my Dad. I love the dude but he is energetically draining on top of
the drain of cross country travel.
We all have people and things in our lives that take a bunch of energy. And, if you are not careful, it can impact your health, your mood, and dribble onto and effect your relationships.
I was in danger of that this week and I realized that if I wasn't mindful, my exhaustion and irritation would have spilled over into my work life and my personal life.
Have you felt this way before? The to-do list just keeps growing and you are running out of steam and it's effecting other areas of your life. I get it. I just went through it and because of what I have
learned about high-performance, I was able to get through and no one got hurt. Yay!
Imagine how my husband feels not having to be the victim of a tired, cranky, overspent wife. When I think about how the old me would have reacted from the exhaustion, not only am I embarrassed, but I'm so
glad that I've developed the habits for my life and business to get through potentially rocky moments in life.
That's why I was thinking of you. There is so much going on in the world and in our lives that I can't be the only one who feels like they just can't deal with another thing right now.
