Are you a ‘nose to the grindstone’ type of person? Do you like to ‘hammer things out’? Does anything you do for your work or business feel ‘hard’? Does whatever you do have to be ‘perfect’ because your name is behind it?”
Oh boy, do I know how that feels. In fact, my need for perfectionism fueled my procrastination. Anything I could do to distract me from putting stuff out there that might be judged became my chief form of procrastination.
And google had me figured out. Anything I needed to focus on for my business was always interrupted by a pop-up ad for something on sale that coincidentally, I needed. Go figure. Does this happen to you too?
This has always made things take longer and feel harder than they needed to. What you focus on grows and I was focusing on avoiding what felt hard or uncomfortable when it came to work for my business.
What ended up happening is that I spent a lot of time getting nothing done and became too tired to have any real quality time with the people that mattered most to me. This cost me dearly. I needed a breakthrough before everything that mattered broke down.
If you are someone who gets distracted and falls victim to shiny object syndrome or the deep hole of procrastination and you are serious about breaking through what’s stopping you, then I want to share this with you.
Here’s what I did:
- Get clear on what matters most to you.
- Prioritize your goals and values based on that.
- Establish and communicate clear boundaries to protect what matters most.
So that you can win in your health, well-being, and your relationships. It seems simple but breaking old habits that put your needs last is quite hard to do. That’s why I’m creating a clear set of tools and strategies to help you achieve success in your personal and professional life without the sacrifice.
I promise, it’s coming soon. Next week in fact so watch your inbox for the details. I’ll be making you an offer you can’t refuse.
