February is Black History Month and it’s pretty significant for the Black community to celebrate and honor our journey.

I want to share some books with you that I have read recently, that help me show up in a way that supports underserved communities as a true ally.

This month, I actually read MY book, The Intimacy of Race, and I was reminded of and learned a lot. I’m reading through different eyes that have experienced growth and change from when I first published it. It’s actually really good and I’m glad I put it out there.

It's The Little Things

A couple of months ago I read It’s the Little Things by Lena Williams. Now this book was written in the early 2000’s but there are some powerful insights and learnings that will resonate today. What’s important for all of us to notice is how the little things do add up and have a compound effect on our lives.
