Hi {{ subscriber.first_name | capitalize() or "friend" }},
Notice where conflict is showing up these days. Where there is conflict, there's lack of influence.
Everywhere you look, people are trying to influence you with their views and opinions on politics, COVID 19, racism and more.
But all you are see are accusations, defensiveness, divisiveness and conflict.
No one seems to be willing to be open to listening and learning. We want to be right and righteous about where we stand on any given subject.
When everyone is convinced that they are right, there is conflict. And, we cannot influence in a state of conflict.
"The minute you think you know, puts you in righteousness and superiority."
As a result, we are left with anger, frustration and broken relationships. Instead of coming together, we are drifting further apart.
Neither side is willing to consider a different perspective. It's more important to be right than to be happy.
