These past couple of weeks have caused all of us to look deeper inside ourselves around the subject of racism.
Black Lives Matter. All Lives Matter. I am not a racist. Antiracism. White Fragility. Microagressions. Macroagressions. Diversity. Inclusion.
Everything you have thought and said in the past is now in question. New terms and phrases have you confused and questioning what it all really means.
You want to do the right thing, but you are afraid you'll do the wrong thing and be criticized. And yet, you want to do something. You have good intentions and your heart is in the right place.
That's why I'm inviting you to the "The Allyship Awareness Forum" on June 12th from 9:00am-12:00pm Pacific.
This is a listen and learn event with leading women of color, hosted by yours truly.
Not that it's my job to educate you on matters of systemic racism and history. There are plenty of resources available for your education. But to create an opportunity for you to listen and learn how you can show up in your life if you want to be an ally.
