Hey ,
It's been nearly 4 years since I discovered my husband's betrayal.
When I think back to where we were then to where we are now, I'm astonished by our journey.
Although the journey was challenging at best, it was worth it to have the relationship we have now.
And you know the best part is that we are both feeling both physically and mentally healthier now that we choose our way of being with each other.
We respond, instead of react and our results are a relationship that has us both feel seen, heard, loved and appreciated.
When I remember how I was reacting before we worked on ourselves, my heart hurts.
I let my emotions, stress and overwhelm, dictate how I was being in relationship with my spouse.
Does this ever happen to you? Do you ever let the stress of your life impact your relationships?
I know I did and it nearly cost me my relationship. We both did and I shudder to think where we would be today if we didn't chose to EACH take responsibility and work on ourselves to be better for each other.
It was a choice that we had to both make to let go of our EGO's and fight for our love.
If you want to hear our full story, you can. Dr. Debi Silber interviewed me last year for her podcast "From Betrayal to Breakthrough" and it airs on Monday, March 9th.
In it, I share all about the betrayal and what it took to come through the other side.
You can find the episode here ⬇️ when it airs on Monday.
