Hey ,
Tragedy can be a wake up call. What needs to happen to wake you up?
This past weekend, we all heard about the tragic helicopter crash that took the lives of an NBA legend, his daughter and 7 other amazing souls.
I don't know about you, but I was in tears. So many lives of contribution, hope, promise and service, snuffed out in an instant.
And, the grief their families now have to endure with this tragic loss.
There are many other losses that don't make the news, that are just as tragic and shocking.
However, having someone so well known, who was making such an impact in the world, had us all realizing that our next moment is not guaranteed.
So here are the questions I've been asking, where are you still living in blame and excuses?
Are you living? Are you loving? Are you showing up and making a difference?
I was coaching a client yesterday and during our conversation, it was revealed that she did not complete what she said she would complete by our call.
When I asked what happened, she was in blaming energy and not in responsibility.
This is something that keeps coming up for her and it shows in her results.
Being a victim to life's daily challenges and circumstances will not move the needle forward on your dreams and goals.
Responding with consciousness, intention, direction and specific forward action will.
Taking responsibility for your results is crucial to your conscious actions.
"Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going."
~Jim Rohn~
Focusing on what is automatic or easy is not effective in creating movement or change.
How you consciously strive to meet life's hard challenges and grow beyond your comforts creates real change in your life and in the lives of others.
You are more than capable of moving the needle of your life forward. It's up to you.
If you don't know how, ask for support. Let people know what you want and you'll be astonished on how many doors will open for you.
You can wake up now and live your best life!
