Today is Juneteenth. That’s not the embarrassing part. I’m embarrassed to say that I never even heard of
Juneteenth until I moved to Berkeley, CA more than 20 years ago.
I went to all or mostly white, Catholic Schools, through high school. Then college was
specialized for dental hygiene. Again, all white.
When I first heard of Juneteenth, I thought it was a fancy way of saying June thirteenth. So, I did
what I always do when I hear of something for the first time. I Googled it. And, that’s when I discovered the meaning and significance of Juneteenth.
I’m
not sharing this to give you a Juneteenth lesson right now. You can Google it too if you don’t know.
What I have done and have been doing to close the
gap between the history I was taught in school and the history that wasn’t taught in school, is dive into learning.
Part of my learning also involves
teaching.
Since I’ve been speaking, teaching and coaching on the subject of DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) back when it was allowed, I
realized that unless this type of training was offered by organizations, most people didn’t have access to it.
So, I created an online course that made
inclusive practices assessible to everyone. Now, for Juneteenth, I’m offering this course, The Inclusive Community Blueprint, at its lowest price ever, this weekend for Juneteenth.
Juneteenth marks freedom that was delayed and then finally delivered. The work of inclusion sits close to that. So this weekend, the course is open to anyone ready to do it.
Here is what it is.
The Inclusive Community Blueprint teaches you how to communicate
in a way that actually includes people. How to lead conversations, run a room, and build a community where people feel seen and heard. It is built for educators, leaders, managers, business owners, and anyone holding a community together.
It is recorded and on demand, so you start the moment you enroll.
Normally it is $497.
This weekend it is $97. That is $400 off.

Listen, even though the work of inclusion has been criticized lately, it’s still important work. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. To me, that’s just basic.
How you do that effectively is the tricky part. That’s why I created this course. I’ve seen how powerful this work is for leaders, teams, and educators alike. The
benefits are endless.
The window for this special pricing closes Sunday June 21 at midnight, and the price goes back to
$497.
