For years, I’ve complained about my cuticles. No manicurist could ever seem to get them “right.” They grow fast, they’re hard, and they stick to my nails like spackle. I viewed them as this
recurring nuisance I’ve lived with for many years.
Until one day, my daughter said something that completely shifted my thinking:
“You know, the way your cuticles grow actually makes your manicures last longer and your nails look really good.”
Hmm, I’ve never
thought about it like that.
She was right.
