Every day I take a real lunch break, even though I work from home. I always watch something
interesting on TV while I unwind and reset and recently, I stumbled upon a documentary on John F. Kennedy on The History Channel.
True confession, I’m a bit of a history nerd and as a child of the 1960’s, I’ve always been fascinated with the history of that time. From the Cuban missile crisis, the Bay of Pigs, the building of the Berlin Wall, and the Civil Rights movement, just seeing everything this young president had to deal with in his leadership had me addicted to this series. Whether you agreed with his politics or not, when you see the extent of his leadership from WWII up until his
assassination, it’s hard not to have respect for this man who was taken away from his young family and the world all too soon. There’s a lot to be learned from studying past leaders.
It's available for streaming on the History Channel.
