The Hidden Connection between Personal Harmony and Leadership Success by Uwe
Dockhorn
Since we are on the topic of Leadership, my friend and colleague, Uwe Dockhorn, has written a very insightful white paper on this
subject.
He has found through 17,000+ executive sessions that leaders who master work-life harmony experience a documented 29% increase in leadership effectiveness.
His free White Paper; The Future of Leadership: How Work-Life Harmony Transforms Executive Performance reveals:
• The revolutionary “Letting-Go and Letting-In”
methodology
• Why traditional “work-life balance” approaches fail
• How to enhance leadership presence while nurturing personal relationships

So, there you have it, my recommendations for April. Here’s the thing, we all have the power to impact our environment in positive ways, but not everyone knows how
to do this. I recently heard Damon West talk about his book “How to be a Coffee Bean”. He shared the analogy of a carrot, an egg, a coffee bean, and what happens to each when put in a pot of boiling water (your environment).
The carrot becomes soft, the egg becomes hard
inside, and the coffee bean… well, it changes the water to coffee. Think about that for a minute. That little coffee bean had the strength of mind and leadership to change water into coffee. Be a coffee bean.
