Hey ,
I wanted to share a little something with you. Over the past few weeks, my husband and I have been knee-deep in work—one project after another, with barely a moment to catch our
breath. But we both realized that we couldn’t keep up this pace without taking some intentional time to recharge.
Last Sunday, we did just
that. Even though the timing never felt right, we decided to play tourist and took a sunset dinner cruise around San Francisco Bay with friends. It was refreshing to see our city from a new perspective and just have some fun. This week, we took it a step further and drove up to Napa, enjoyed a stroll, and had a beautiful lunch at a fancy restaurant. It felt good to step away from our usual surroundings and enjoy with each other and ourselves.
The reason I’m sharing this? To remind you, as I had to remind (even force) myself, that no matter how busy I am, it’s essential to carve out time to recharge. Life is always going to be full
but taking that break—even if it’s just a small one each week—allows you to show up as your best self, to be fully present, and to operate at your A-game.
So, let this be your gentle reminder to do the same. Whether it’s a simple walk in nature, a coffee date with a friend, or a quiet moment to yourself, find a way to replenish. Your well-being, your relationships, and your performance deserve it.
