So, as I was indulging in mindless social media scrolling, I came across some discussion and controversy over a Blake Lively movie called It Ends With Us. Turns out that it’s based on a book. I usually like to read the book before watching the movie and that’s what I did. It’s an interesting perspective on domestic violence that will challenge your assumptions of how people become victims in the first place.

Do you remember the story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard? She killed her mother who suffered from Munchausen by proxy, which is a mental illness and a form of child abuse. Well, this is a real-life documentary of sorts that follows her release from prison and how she manages to have a life amidst the notoriety of her case and the restrictions of her parole. True crime dramas fascinate me (as long as the dog doesn’t die). It’s not binge worthy in my opinion, but it is fascinating. It's available for streaming on Amazon Prime and Hulu.
