Getting older is not for the faint of heart. The aches and pains are more apparent now. The body keeps changing and the memory is not what it used to be.
Yet, the alternative is not that great either. I remember a patient of mine who was in her 90's once said to me, "the day I wake up and nothing hurts, I must be dead." π
Here's what I love about reaching 64:
- Senior citizen
discounts (I just have to remember to ask for them.)
- My body parts still work!
- I get to do what I love for work!
- I'm living my life with very little limits.
- I have my health.
- I have my family.
- And let's
not forget my doggie, Lexi!
I have so much to be grateful for. It's not perfect, but it's what I created.
Last but not least, I'm grateful for you. You put up with my emails. My stories. My promotions and my rants. So thank you for sticking with me. I appreciate having you in my community.
Have a wonderful day and I hope I have contributed some value to your life in some way.
