This is a real-life example of what's possible when we listen to each other without reacting defensively, but with
an intention to learn and understand.
I appreciate and acknowledge these folks for not prioritizing getting it right over being right and I told them as much.
Now, I'm not sharing this for you to agree or disagree with the subject matter of the post. I'm sharing this because in a world where we are so quick to judge and committed to being right about our beliefs and opinions, we can still talk respectfully to each other and open our hearts and minds to learning from different perspectives.
It's a reminder to be open to listening to and learning from each other. Which is the foundation for creating inclusive environments.
And, it's why I'll be
launching my course, The Inclusive Community Blueprint, next month. If you want to know how to lead open, honest, conversations and attract and retain, diverse clients, customers, students, and friends, this self-paced, online course with give you the tools and framework you need to become an inclusive leader in your life.
If you want to be one of a handful of people who get to be the first to take the course while in Beta, reply to this email with the words, ME, and I'll make sure that you are one of the first ones in.
Sending you
love.
