Dear ,
I see it every day. People working alone, in isolation, struggling to figure things out and being disappointed that they aren’t getting the results they want.
Sound familiar to you? Are you struggling with how to manage your teams? How to increase revenue in your business? How to release extra pounds?
How to eat healthier? How to fit in a workout? Any of these?
When I read the book Who Not How, by Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy, it really brought to the light just how many of us are wasting precious time and energy trying to figure things out on our own.
I started to wonder why. Why we don’t ask for help and support more. Why we continue to struggle alone.
I’ve been watching the press, so to speak, on Ozempic and Wegovy for weight loss. The number of people/celebrities who used this medication to aide in their weight loss and the criticism that others have for people who use this type of help in their quest to lose weight had me thinking.
It’s no wonder why we don’t ask for help more often. It feels like cheating and we’ve been taught from an early age in school not to cheat. We feel guilt and
shame when we can’t do it on our own, and we risk the judgment and punishment of others.
And when we do get support to achieve a goal, we hide it. We don’t talk about it. We want the illusion that we figured everything out on our own. How sad.
And yet, when it comes to sports or other achievements, we proudly thank our team and coaches for helping us achieve our goals. Something to ponder about for sure. When is it
cheating, and when is it teamwork?
I want to invite you to give yourself and others grace to know when you need some help and not be ashamed to ask for and receive it. Lone-wolfing is not a badge of honor. It causes so much stress and anxiety that is just not going to give you an optimized life.
Speaking of an optimized life, how do you like my new logo? It speaks more of what I help people achieve in my
coaching programs. People who are not embarrassed to ask for help when they are tired of struggling alone.
I’ve opened up enrollment for my next small group coaching program, and I want to invite you to apply. I have 3 spots left for the group, and I’d love for you and I to have a talk about how I can help you optimize your life and your business with certified high-performance coaching.
All you need to do is
