Listening to this book surprised me. I had certain assumptions from the title. This topic was told as a story about a real estate agent and how he learned to grow his business through connections and referrals. Being in the real estate world myself, I found it very interesting but also how harnessing the power of connections can be used in any business. It’s a great business book told as one man’s journey. I recommend this as another tool for success.

Creating My Year of No (blog)

One of my favorite quotes is from Sir Richard Branson; “When someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you are not sure you can do it, say yes and figure it out later.”

I had many wonderful years of saying yes and enjoyed many awesome opportunities. I even read Shonda Rhimes’s book “Year of Yes”.  I was all about saying Yes to everything and being proud of it. My thinking was that any opportunity offered to me had the potential of being awesome and amazing and I didn’t want to miss out on any of it.

Watching…

I found this series when I was staying alone in a hotel room recently and I got hooked and binged it to completion on my flight home.

What I love about this series, among other things, is that it has and all Asian cast and from what I can tell, writers, directors, and producers. It’s also REALLY good, surprising, and so many lessons about the consequences of not having control of your emotions, particularly road rage in this instance.

It’s only 10 episodes and you will blow through it in no time.
