Based on Cate Blanchett’s Oscar nomination for this role, and the fact that I think she’s an amazing actress, I was really looking forward to watching this movie. I was glad it was streaming on Peacock so that I could watch from home. Let me say, thank goodness I didn’t waste
my time or money going to a movie theater for this mess. Now, I’m not a movie critic, (although I think I missed my calling as one 😀) so I believed the hype about this movie and her performance. Ugh! Overacted, choppy, weird, and snooze-inducing. Did you see it and have a different experience? I’d love to hear what you thought. My husband and I agreed and we both hated it.
