For menopausal or post-menopausal women in this increasingly chaotic world, it can sometimes feel that it's harder to be seen, be heard, and to make a difference.
There are so many women in their wisdom years who refuse to stay silent.
Even though many cultures - especially western civilizations - have
denigrated older women for centuries, if not millennia, and continue to try to tell them that they are irrelevant, to be shunned for daring to showing gray hairs, that they should be invisible and sit quietly, silent.
Let's refuse to accept perspectives that reduce older women to "ugly, evil, old women" (a dictionary definition of "Crone".)
We are reclaiming Crone, Hag, and any other words used to denounce and deny older women.
